This scholarship covers the full residency fee for a 2-week summer or fall 2027 residency session. The fellowship includes housing, 5 hours of tutorials/mentorship with the director Macy Chadwick, and basic studio supplies such as solvents, newsprint, rags, and ferric acid. The fellowship does not cover specific materials for the artist’s project, travel costs, or food. Paper is available for purchase in the studio, and the artist can use the studio’s inks for 25/week.

Artists may apply to work in letterpress, artist books, printmaking (copper etching, monoprint, collagraph, relief), and writing. You can see more specifics about the equipment available at In Cahoots on our website 

JURORS: a team of jurors at In Cahoots Residency

The selected CSP member is asked to sign a contract with CSP that they will provide documentation for a CSP newsletter article, speak at the annual meeting, and provide a work of art to the CSP historian.

CSP Documentation Requirements: To feature your work in our newsletter, social media, and archives, we request the following:
         Photos of your finished artwork
         Photos of you working at [Residency]
         A short write-up of your experience
Note: Our annual meeting in the spring following your residency will feature your residency work alongside a brief artist talk.
