In Cahoots Residency is located in the countryside, 5 miles outside historic downtown Petaluma. In Cahoots is on a 3.8 acre property with wide open fields, visiting horses, lovely gardens of flowers and vegetables, light-filled studios, quaint guest cottages, and even a spontaneous frog pond that appears after a spring rain. Artist residents can get lost in their work, then look up to see a wild turkey alight in a row of redwood trees, hear a distant rooster call, and feel the crisp breeze from the Pacific on a warm sunny day.

In Cahoots Residency is nestled among farms on the west side of Petaluma, with views of Sonoma Mountain to the east, and flowering plants and trees edging the golden fields to the south. There is an organic garden on the property where residents are welcome to harvest in-season vegetables for their dinners.

The dry summer is characterized by typically warm days and cool nights. Transportation: Driving- located just 2.5 miles from highway 101, one hour north of San Francisco. Recommended airports- San Francisco SFO or Oakland OAK (1 hour away with Airport Express shuttle to Petaluma) Other airports- Santa Rosa STS (30 minutes away).
