About this piece:
Garden Swatch The swatches represent a non-pictorial way of documenting the changing seasons. In the same way that 19th century entomologists were compelled to collect insect and butterfly specimens for display, the swatches represent an urge to collect, juxtapose and display the evolving colors of the Bay Area.
