About this print:
Wave Study I is one of a series of prints about my father's sailing journey across the Atlantic Ocean in 1960. In trying to imagine what his adventure must have looked and felt like, I created a series of drawings with Sumi ink about the weather and the waves. These drawings were then turned into polymer plates and printed on the letterpress. These studies will be the pages in my next artist book.
