About this print:
Taking inspiration from the paths walked and drawn in 2022, I revisited these shapes while in residency in the start of 2024 at In Cahoots in Petaluma. Colors are created using leftover dye baths from the Petaluma Map Flag textile pieces. Pigments are distilled, ground, and mulled into binders to create printmaking ink. Additional inks are mixed to match the colors of the Petaluma landscape and the colors the plants create.
