About this Print:
For many years I have created work inspired from the poetry and life of Emily Dickinson. I discovered a research book with all of her handwritten poems found in her fascicles, or hand bound booklets she made to gather together her poetry together. The handwritten poem in the book is the same poem printed in the book. I visited her homestead on two occasions, and also went to the Houghton Library at Harvard where I was able to see works in their collection. The pressure prints of the window and chair were created from photographs I took in her room.
